Volunteering with any organisation can be a rewarding use of your free time. Here at the Nottingham MS Therapy Centre we rely on our team of fantastic volunteers to help keep our Centre running smoothly. We couldn't provide the services we do without them and our members really enjoy the friendly atmosphere we offer.
Our volunteer chamber operators are an essential part of our team. Assisting our senior chamber operator, this role requires a confident and friendly approach. You'll be given full training and supervision while you operate one of our hyperbaric oxygen chambers, help with mask management and support our members with mask fitting. You do not need to be technically minded but you do need to be comfortable with the hissing and whooshing that comes with chamber pressurisation. Shifts can be as short as two hours per week but we prefer a fairly regular commitment, where possible. If you think you'd like to join our friendly team, please complete the form below.
We are desperately in need of some help with scanning & shredding so if you can offer a few hours here & there, please let us know.
We would also love some help with researching HBOT with certain conditions to help us produce up to date fact sheets so if this is something you do anyway, maybe you could help us at the same time?
We are looking for people to help us with the many tasks involved in planning an event of this size. Whether it's ticket sales, acquiring auction prizes, social media marketing or chasing up meal options, we could really use your help.
If you have a particular skill set that you feel might help us run our Centre, please get in touch.
We are always looking for assistance with marketing, medical research & on the technical side.
